Key Starters Return for Stanford

October 11, 2017

On Wednesday members of the media were able to speak with Oregon coaches and view a short 20-minute open period of practice.

Willie Taggart announced some key injury updates on several Oregon players.

After missing last week, wide receiver Dillon Mitchell will make his return this week. Also adding to the receiver group will be Charles Nelson making his return.

Although Braxton Burmeister was under a lot of pressure against Washington State, the loss of these two didn't help make matters easier.

Nick Pickett was available last week but did not play. He's also available for Oregon this week at the safety position.

Lastly it would appear Taylor Alie has returned to practice and is pushing Burmeister for the starting gig. Taggart has not made any announcment on a starting quarterback and instead is watching both through the week.
