By the Numbers

November 5, 2017

Oregon has won more games than all of last season. Even though it doesn't feel like it, the team is on the upswing.

The Ducks still have 2 games left, and if things go well, they could win three more games and get to an 8-win total. Arizona will be tough unless Justin Herbert plays. They'll still be tough, but it's a heck of a lot closer.

Oregon State won't be a walk through either, but a healthy Herbert once again makes that an easier game for the Ducks.

Here is a dozen or so numbers to chew on following the Oregon loss to Washington.

7 for 13 - Burmeister was ineffective against Washington. (58.5 QBR)

11 for 19 - Browning didn't have eye-popping numbers either. However he did put up 204 yards. (172.3 QBR)

7.2 - Myles Gaskin average per rush. He had 17 rushes for 123 yards and a TD.

451 - Total yards by Washington.

18.5 - Average yards per completion by Washington.

21.8 - Pettis' average yards per catch.

7 - Tackles for loss by UW. Oregon had 5.

5 for 50 -Penalties for Oregon. UW had 4 for 35.

13 - Tackles by Jimmie Swain. He also had 1.5 tackles for a loss.

1 for 2 - UW red zone attempts despite scoring 38 points. Oregon was also 1 for 2 in the red zone.

0 - First downs by pass for Oregon. 4 for Washington.

6.2 - TBJ average yards per rush.

14  - Salvon Ahmed yars per rush. 6 rushes for 84 yards.

0 for 1 - Both teams fourth down conversions.
