Ducks Down ASU

January 12, 2018

On Thursday night the Ducks pulled off a surprising win in the desert against a talented ASU team.

Led by guards Payton Pritchard and Elijah Brown, who both scored 18 points each, Oregon cruised past the Sun Devils in a 76-72 victory.

ASU pulled away and was up by 13 points at one point in the first half. Oregon came roaring back to tie things up at half.

With the score tied at 41 at halftime, the Ducks really pushed the envelope in the second half.

Forward Mikyle McIntosh put together one of his best performances of the early season with a 12 point, 13 rebound effort in 35 minutes.

ASU didn't have quite the depth and that seemingly caught up with them in the end. ASU guards Kodi Justice and Shannon Evans II played 34 minutes or more and scored 40 of the team's 72 points.

The Ducks are now 2-2 in conference play and will play at Arizona on Saturday at 11 AM. The game will air on ESPN.
