Williams Planning Visit

March 10, 2018

Oregon has a shot at yet another top-50 player in the 2018 class.

Crespi (Calif.) PG Brandon Williams, who is rated as high as 7th in the guard rankings, recently decided he will not play his college basketball at Arizona. Since he made that decision his recruitment has really heated up as he's heard from Gonzaga, Ohio State, Arizona State, Kentucky, among many.

But the Oregon Ducks offered the 2018 guard and oh boy was he happy.

"I definitely want to get up there and take a visit. Obviously to come in a play with a guy like Bol Bol that would be great. He’s so long you just throw up it there and get easy assists so as a guard. That would be fun." Williams said in an interview with Krysten Peek of Rivals.

What do you get in Brandon Williams?

Speed, vision, defense, and an amazing offensive player. Williams is an animal on the court, many think he should be rated higher in the 2018 class. Great on defense, one of best defensive guards in the class. Terrific mid-range and three-point game. Is quick to the rim and is an excellent scorer in the paint as well.

Earlier today I received word that Williams wants to get up to Oregon once his season is done. That's a visit he's really looking forward too.

If Williams commits to Oregon he will be the team's fifth top-100 commit and the Ducks second top-50 guard prospect.
