Duck Targets Earn Camp Honors

March 11, 2018

There were a couple of big camps on Sunday, most notably the Opening regionals in Los Angeles. The Ducks have made the state of California a top priority in 2019 recruiting, as they should.

As such that camp had a number of top Oregon targets present with many of them picking up several big accolades.

The first highlight goes to the first Elite-11 invitation that was made to Orange Lutheran (Calif.) quarterback Ryan Hilinski‍. ScoopDuck spoke with Hilinski last week who plans on visiting Oregon for the Spring game in April.

Also from that same event were some MVP awards and Opening Invitations.

The MVP's by position went as follows:

QB: Ryan Hilinski

RB: Sean Dollars

WR/TE: Jabari Kindle

OL: Myles Murao (2020)

DL: Keyon Ware-Hudson

LB: Justin Flowe (2020)

DB: Chris Steele

Oregon is a player for everyone on this list currently. Sean Dollars, Keyon Ware-Hudson and Chris Steele have already visited Oregon at least once.

There were 10 invitations made to participants in the Southern Caliornia regional. Oregon is a player for 9 of them, with Stanford Colby Bowman the lone holdout. (Solid commit to Stanford)

DL - Kayvon Thibodeaux

OL - Jonah Tauanu'u

RB - Sean Dollars

LB - DeGabriel Floyd

LB - Mase Funa

ATH - Bru McCoy

DB - Max Williams

WR - Kyle Ford

DB - Chris Steele

Up North the Rivals Adidas 3-Star challenge also included some ballers at the San Francisco event. Several invitations were made to players for the Rivals 5-Star challenge.

QB - Michael Johnson Jr.

WR - Joshua Jackson (2020)

OL - Julius Buelow

The Ducks are a player for all three players listed.

Oregon personnell quickly followed up with several of the top targets offering congratulations to several of them.
