2019 four-star guard from Texas discusses new Ducks offer

May 15, 2018

Samuell Williamson is a 6-6, 170-pound Shooting Guard from Rockwall, TX.

One of the biggest wants in the 2019 class as of late, Williamson has put on a show in his AAU tournaments and his reward? tons of colleges reaching out. The latest, the Oregon Ducks.

"Coach Stubs offered me. He just said that he saw me play several times during the first two live periods and really liked my game and wanted to offer me a scholarship," Williamson told ScoopDuck.

The offer was one Williamson was really intrigued with. He enjoys how successful the program has been at the SG/SF position and the teams past has definitely caught his attention.

"Yes definitely, especially with players at my position like Tyler Dorsey and Dillon Brooks going there and being very successful," he says on being intrigued by Ducks success at his position.

When asked about visiting unofficially Williamson said it's unlikely (Due to time and distance I'm assuming) but added if Oregon is included in his final five which he said will be announced in July, Ducks will get an official.
