Report: Dennison Back to Louisville

January 3, 2019

Oregon will be looking to replace at least one assistant coach on its staff. After pulling Cort Dennison away from Louisville, he is expected to return with new head coach Scott Satterfield.

Dennison spent four seasons at Louisville before his one year stop at Oregon.

According to footballscoop.com, Dennison will be an outside linebackers coach at Louisville like he was at Oregon. Bruce Feldman is reporting he will be co-defensive coordinator additionally.

Part of Oregon’s highly-decorated recruting class included several big linebacker pickups like Ge’mon Eaford, Mase Funa and others. Dennison was a key factor in several of Oregon’s signed recruits and is considered one of the top young names in most coaching circles.

Mario Cristobal will look to replace him as quickly as possible with a key January recruiting period ahead.
