Graves Adds Basketball Transfer

May 25, 2019

Oregon women’s basketball head coach Kelly Graves is on a heater. But this time he’s gone to an immediate contributor for his squad via the graduate transfer route.

Saturday afternoon former USC guard Minyon Moore announced her intent to transfer to Oregon during an official visit. As a grad transfer she will be eligible to contribute this season.

Last season Moore was the full-time starter for the Trojans at guard racking up some big numbers. She posted terrific season totals including 13.2 PPG, 4 RPG, 5.3 assists and nearly 3 steals a game. Those numbers helped her earn Pac-12 All-Defensive team honors.

While Oregon continues to demolish the recruiting trail, Moore will be a part of this season’s squad hoping to win a Pac-12 title and push deep into the NCAA tournament. The return of Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard figures to make Oregon a heavy favorite.

Moore is listed at 5-foot-8 and originally hails from Salesian (Calif.) high school.
