Ma’ae Eager to Put on the Pads at Oregon

June 5, 2019

In about three weeks, Oregon’s entire 2019 class will be enrolled and practicing.

Oregon went on a bit of a run with defensive commits in the class, signing as many as seven athletes who could be classified as defensive linemen. One signee that I spoke with recently was 3-star (0.8710 on the 247Sports Composite) weak side defensive end Treven Ma’ae.

Ma’ae played his high school ball at national powerhouse Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas (Nevada). The 6-4, 240-pounder ranked as the No.
