SNL Visitor List

Saturday Night Live has become one of the premier recruiting events for Oregon football. Since its inception a couple of years ago under Willie Taggart.

The event takes place this Saturday at Autzen Stadium starting around 4:15 PM. It is free and fans are encouraged to attend and help promote the experience.

***Five commits for Oregon football? My prediction***

Below are the names expected to attend. You won’t find Noah Sewell on the list, nor Justin Flowe, a couple of 5-Stars linked to a potential visit. However that won’t happen but the Sewell family offered some valid reasons for missing the event.

Here is the list as it stands today. Remember that even though the event is only a few days away, these are unofficial visits and plans can change. For now this should look pretty accurate ahead of Saturday’s big event.

Official Visitors

Brenden Coffey‍ - OL

TJ Bass‍ - OL

These are the only two official visitors coming this weekend. JUCO players can take officials during this time, prep recruits can not. As such they will also not be participating at SNL but will likely be around the event while its taking place.

Unofficial Visitors 2020

Trey Benson‍  - RB (Committed)

Jay Butterfield‍ - QB (Committed)

Jared Greenfield‍ - DB (Committed)

Kris Hutson‍ - WR (Committed)

Johnny Wilson‍ - WR

Elijhah Badger‍  - ATH

Alex Harrison‍ - OL

Kenean Caldwell‍ - DE

Montra Edwards‍ - DL

Bennett Williams - DB (JUCO)

Junior Aho - DE (JUCO) (Not offered)

Jeremiah Hunter‍ - WR (Not offered)

Overall this is a great group of attendees. Getting Wilson and Badger is huge at receiver. Both are considered takes at this time. Harrison is a nasty offensive lineman that could play center at Oregon. Caldwell and Edwards are BIG KEYS to this group at defensive line.

Bennett Williams is a JUCO safety out of San Mateo that Keith Heyward is really high on. If he performs well this one could progress quickly.

I would also keep an eye on Junior Aho, JUCO from New Mexico Military Institute. At 6-foot-3, 255-pounds, he’s a load at defensive end. He does not currently have an offer but could easily pick one up.

Hunter is a current Cal commit coming to camp. He does not have an Oregon offer but is hoping to pick one up from a strong performance.

Unofficial Visitors 2021 & 2022 (Offered)

Q‍B - Peter Costelli‍  - 21

Q‍B - Caleb Williams‍  - 21

QB - Ari Patu - 21

RB - Evan Pryor‍  - 21

RB Seven McGee‍ - 21 (Committed)

WR Troy Franklin‍ - 21

WR Donte Thornton Jr.‍ - 21

TE Moliki Matavao - 21

OL Kingsley Suamataia‍ 21

OL Jonah Miller 21

OL Jacob Barnes 21

OL Henry Buckles 21

OL Jackson Light 21

OL Bryce Foster‍ 21

LB Keith Brown 21

LB Will Latu 21

LB Quintin Yon Wagner 22

LB Emar’rion Winston 22

DB Calen Bullock 21

DB Anthony Beavers Jr 21 (Committed)

DB Jamier Johnson 21

DB Domani Jackson 22

This list is filthy. While you might not recognize a lot of the names, getting these 2021's and 2022’s on campus early is VITAL to success down the line. The quarterback group features a 5-Star (Williams) and a couple other guys the staff REALLY likes.

Seven McGee and Evan Pryor are as filthy of a 1-2 running back combo as you’ll find in the ‘21 class. Both would be HUGE in this offense together.

Franklin is a 5-Star receiver and Thornton is a guy the staff is pretty high on. Also a four-star in the 2021 class.

Tight end Matavao out of Nevada is about as good as you’ll find out West in the 2021 class.

That’s a filthy group of offensive linemen from Oregon, Texas, Arizona and California. Combine that with the fact Bass, Coffey and Harrison are also here from the 2020 class and that’s one talented group. I will definitely have my eyes on this group on Saturday.

Not much by way of defensive linemen but we’ll see how it shakes out moving forward.

At linebacker that’s a solid group of four-stars with the two top in-state backers in 21 and 22 in Brown and Winston. I doubt either commits but getting on them early is key.

Beavers is committed but the two from John Muir (Johnson and Bullock) are as good as it gets. They aren't highly ranked in the ‘21 class but Oregon really likes both. Couple that with the fact they play with John Humphrey and the staff is hoping to clean house.

Domani is a '22 but I saw him at the battle of the beach and he’s the real deal. This is a kid worth going in on early and Oregon is doing just that.
