Harris In No Rush

August 11, 2019

Clearly, past Oregon coaches have coveted height along the defensive front. Previous regimes have brought in such lengthy linemen as DeForest Buckner (6-7), Arik Armstead (6-8) and Brandon Bair (6-7).

One current prospect who could fill that tall order is 4-star (0.9291 on the 247Sports Composite) defensive end Jason Harris of Higley High in Gilbert (Ariz.). Measuring 6-8 and 220 pounds, Harris is rated as the nation's No. 11 weak side defensive end and the No. 6 player in Arizona for the class of 2020.
