Oregon Basketball Recruiting

Impact: Dante Commitment

August 13, 2019

Never doubt Dana Altman.

Just when things were looking down, the Oregon men's basketball coach showed he has another trick up his sleeve, landing 5-star (0.9952 on the 247Sports Composite) center N’faly Dante. Dante, who prepped in Wichita (Kan,), will reclassify into the 2019 class and join the Ducks this fall.

Tuesday's pledge is a huge get for the staff, as Oregon went into this upcoming season with only one scholarship center: sophomore Francis Okoro.

Landing the nation's 14th-ranked player is a huge boost to the Ducks' frontcourt, which now includes not only Dante and Okoro, but also 6-7 grad transfer Shakur Juiston and another incoming 5-star, 6-8 freshman C.
