Ducks Hold at No. 6 in CFB Playoff Rankings

There really wasn’t much debate for the committee this week. The top six performed as expected this week including Oregon.

The only real debate was how the committtee would handle the injury to Tua Tagovailoa and Alabama. Would they give Oregon a shot at leap-frogging them or see how it plays out? Turns out we have our answer and it was the latter. I’m sure that will be a hot topic this weekend however Bama plays Western Carolina which probably isn’t even as talented as the Bama practice squad.

The Ducks meanwhile head to Tempe this weekend to face a feisty ASU squad. I suppose the real test comes in two weeks when Oregon hosts for the Civil War and Bama heads to play at the Iron bowl.

Until then, Oregon remains at No. 6.

One other note is the addition of USC this week at No. 23.
