Andy Avalos talked about the loss to Arizona State and how this team is regrouping for the home finale.

You can read his thoughts below or watch the video attached at the bottom. Also Troy Dye, the only other defensive player available is linked below.

Getting ready for the week:

“It’s about how you prepare. We’re working to make sure we do better preparing and staying focused on the task at hand.”

Oregon State’s offense:

“Explosive. The run game, the pass game. You’re looking at an offense that’s scoring a lot of points right now.”

Regrouping in practice:

“It’s a huge deal. We’ve gotta work through to make sure our focus is on the right things. That’s going to take our very best prep again. They can become distractions in big games like this.”

Handling the loss this week:

“You’ve got the taste in your mouth you haven’t had in a while. This time of the year it’s a grind for everybody. It’s always about maintaining confidence. We love those guys they know we love them.”

On the loss/missed tackles:

“We’ll learn from it, we’ll grow. We’re still growing. You’re always a work in progress. It’s all of us being better in the situation. And executing better. Our urgency in practice to make those plays is there, we have to do a better job of that.”
