Oregon WBB Preview & Gamer vs Arizona

Oregon takes on the Arizona who currently is ranked 18th in the nation. The game will top off at 11 a.m. and it is available to watch on the Pac-12 Network.

Oregon dropped a tough one last friday against an unranked Arizona State team. They’ll be looking to bounce back after they had their 7 game winning streak snapped.

Arizona dropped a close one on Friday losing 63-61 against Oregon State who is currently ranked 3rd in the nation. With that loss Arizona moves to 13-2 on the season and 2-2 in conference play. This game today gives them their first chance at a top-25 win in conference play. They’ve beaten one top-25 team in Texas but a win today would launch Arizona up in the rankings.

For Oregon this one of those early season must win games. Oregon has one of the toughest remaining schedules in all of college basketball as they still have 6 more games against teams that currently are ranked 8th or higher.

A win today really would help set Oregon back on track and keep them on pace for a potential number 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. Oregon doesn’t have to be perfect the rest of the season, but they’ll have to be close to it. These are the kind of games you have to win if you do want a 1 seed.

I’ll be chipping into the gamer as much as I can today.
