Coming Back: Graham, Lenoir, Scott, Faoliu to Return

January 12, 2020

Mario Cristobal got himself some big news to start out his week. Four juniors on defense who had requested NFL draft evals have decided to stay at Oregon for their senior seasons.

Starting corners Thomas Graham and Deommodore Lenoir were arguably the top two draft prospects of the four but will try and up their stock by upping with a big senior season.

From the defensive line, Jordon Scott and Austin Faoliu have also elected to return. That is two huge components of one of the best defensive lines in the Pac-12 conference and even nationally.

All four have a chance to work their way up draft boards and also take this Oregon defense to the next level in Andy Avalos’ second year on staff.

The return of these players is not only a huge boost in talent, but also leadership. These players have just finished a Rose bowl championship season at Oregon and will help the younger players through the tough weeks of practices and workouts.

Scott helped Oregon with 32 total tackles this season but failed to register a sack. Faoliu did have 2 sacks on the season but also recorded 39 total tackles.

Deommodore Lenoir did not see many balls thrown his direction this season. He did finish the season with 46 tackles, an interception and 7 pass deflections.

As for Thomas Graham, he had the most productive season in the group from a statistical standpoint. Graham was credited with 64 tackles and 2 interceptions. He was also credited with 10 pass deflections.

The Ducks defense finished the 2019 season as one of the top units in the country.
