Ducks Add Grad Transfer QB Anthony Brown

April 1, 2020

Oregon has made another move in the graduate transfer market. This time Mario Cristobal and Joe Moorhead have added a quarterback to the roster for the purpose of experienced depth to challenge Tyler Shough for the vacant starting spot.

Coming from Boston College as a three-year starter is Anthony Brown this Summer. Brown visited Oregon recently in March and the Ducks were viewed as the leader since that visit. Sources have indicated Brown is in Eugene and will be ready when practice resumes, assuming it resumes.

Last season Brown had his year cut short due to a leg injury. In 6 games he threw for 1,250 yards and 9 touchdowns. He also added 128 yards on the ground and a pair of rushing touchdowns.

Brown will be immediately elgible when practice resumes at Oregon and in the college football sports world.
