Zooming: Jonah Miller

July 20, 2020

One of Oregon’s biggest tasks this off-season is replacing four starting offensive linemen. The good news is that the roster is loaded with elite talent, led by the hulking Steven Jones and prized redshirt freshman Jonah Tauanu’u.

Despite that depth, Mario Cristobal refuses to stand pat. He is building another impressive infusion of talent with the 2021 class.

One of his prized commits is 6-8 Jonah Miller from Sahuaro High in Tucson (Ariz.). The 4-star (0.9046 on the 247Sports Composite) committed to Oregon back in May over such storied programs as Texas and USC.

Miller told ScoopDuck in a recent Zoom interview that he is locked in with his decision.

“I’m working out to get to Eugene,” he said.

Despite his tackle-like length and having played guard most of his junior season, Miller prides himself on his versatility. For instance, he has confidence in his ability to snap the ball as a center with either hand.

I linked up with Miller to talk about what led him to choose the Ducks and what the staff’s plan is for him once he steps foot on Rich Brooks Field.
