Zooming: Rob Moseley

August 17, 2020

Prior to the Pac-12 suspending sports for the remainder of 2020, University of Oregon athletics had been riding high. The football team accomplished its goal of taking the Pac, then took it one step further by bringing home a Rose Bowl trophy.

I’m always trying to bring in big names for ScoopDuck, and I've got one for you today: Rob Moseley, editor-in-chief of Moseley has covered the Ducks in some way, shape or form for decades, and now that he's with the university he has become one of the go-to sources for football news.

Moseley attends all the practices, follows the team on road trips and knows the squad inside and out. From the players to the coaches and everything in between, he’s seen it all since first walking onto the UO campus to study journalism in 1994.

I sat down with Rob to get his thoughts on Oregon’s strong 2019 and discuss some of the biggest storylines for this season -- if and when it happens.

How will the team move on from Justin Herbert? How will Keith Heyward and Rod Chance deal with an embarrassment of riches in the secondary? Who are some of the freshmen primed to make an impact?

The Scoop Duck channel is growing, and I’m excited to work on improving the content. I mention it in the video, but I will be bringing a new sport to the YouTube channel in the near future, so stay tuned for that!

Thank you for your support!
