Deommodore Lenoir Opts for NFL Draft

September 9, 2020

The Pac-12 season remains in limbo and as such players are having to make tough choices. On Wednesday another Oregon player made his decision.

Starting cornerback Deommodore Lenoir announced on social media he will be preparing for the upcoming NFL draft. Which means his career at Oregon has concluded.

Lenoir was a major piece in what was widely viewed as one of the most talented secondaries in college football.

Last season Lenoir and Thomas Graham anchored the starting corner spots with Mykael Wright really pushing behind them. The Ducks have some options with Lenoir now departing including Wright among others.

Oregon also landed five-star defensive back Dontae Manning in the 2020 recruiting cycle who will challenge for time.

Coming out of high school in the 2017 class, Lennoir was the No. 64 ranked player in the country.
