Report: Flowe Out for Season

November 17, 2020

On Tuesday, a tweet surfaced regarding Justin Flowe and an injury that prevented him from playing Saturday.

The tweet suggested Flowe had torn his meniscus and would miss the remainder of the season.

Multiple sources within the Oregon program confirmed the information was accurate and Flowe is expected to miss the rest of the season.

The recovery time for surgery on a torn meniscus is typically around three months. With it being mid-November now, that should allow Flowe to be ready in time for Spring ball which typically begins in early March.

The highly touted freshman did play in Oregon’s first week however he did not start. Oregon had hoped to work Flowe into the rotation more in the coming weeks, however he will not be available.

Recently a photo had circulated of the former 5-Star linebacker. Most Oregon fans had lofty expectations for a debut season from Flowe.

This report has not been confirmed from the University of Oregon at this time.
