Larry Scott and Pac-12 to part ways

Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott and the league's CEO group have mutually agreed to terminate his contract on June 30, 2021, one year ahead of its schedule expiration.  

Scott served as Pac-12 Commissioner for nearly 12 years, overseeing conference expansion as well as the launch of the Pac-12 Network.  Scott’s tenure was marred with well-documented short-comings.

The next Pac-12 Commissioner hire will be critical to the future of the conference and upcoming TV negotiations.
