Jevon Holland Drafted 36th Overall To The Miami Dolphins

April 29, 2021

Jevon Holland was drafted 36th overall by the Miami Dolphins

Holland played safety his freshman year at Oregon before becoming more of a chess piece his sophomore year. He still took some snaps at safety, but he also lined up as a slot corner a lot.

Holland offers versatility to play multiple positions for their defense. He can play right away as their free safety but could also be a day one starter as their slot corner. The dolphins have allocated a ton of resources into their secondary the past few years and now they get a very versatile player in the mix.

Holland is Oregon’s 2nd player drafted after Penei Sewell went 7th overall to the Detroid lions.

Holland could really surprise his rookie year and end up giving a team similar production to Antoine Winfield Jr who was drafted in the 2nd round by the Buccaneers last year.

How do you think Holland will fare his rookie year?
