Recap: 2.4

August 12, 2017

Big news hit Thursday night as Willie Taggart learned of the passing of his father. On Friday coach Taggart was back at practice despite the unfortunate circumstances.

Today (Saturday) Oregon will be scrimmaging behind closed doors. The only media coverage allowed today will be editor in chief Rob Moseley.

Here is Moseley's Quack Minute recap of Friday's practice.

If you are interested in his full report in written form, you can read about Friday's practice from Rob below:

Moseley Report 8.11

In that report some of the highlights includes:

Herbert and Dillon Mitchell seem to be building some chemistry. Herbert connected with Mitchell on several occasions, one of which resulted in a long touchdown over Thomas Graham.

Austin Faoliu was mentioned in the update as recording a sack. It would appear Faoliu was filling in for a mildly injured Jordon Scott, who should be back within a day or two.

There were a couple of reps at offensive line with Calvin Throckmorton at right guard and Brady Aiello at tackle. Jake Pisarcik was getting work as center No. 2.

Ryan Thorburn of the Register-Guard also offered his recap of Friday's open period. His updated noted those injured on the sideline doing conditioning work.

Jordon Scott, Jimmie Swain, Keith Simms, Brady Breeze, Juwaan Williams and CJ Verdell.
